Blog suggestion:    Try the RAC method for three days and report your findings.

Step 1: Record ALL of your activities for three days.

Step 2: Analyze your list and highlight the activities where you feel were not using time productively. How much time did you spend being unproductive?

Step 3: Reflect on your list and discuss a few changes you could make in your day to get that time back.  Consider your initial placement in Covey’s matrix during the webinar. Did you find that your initial prediction was correct or could you place yourself in a different quadrant? Explain your thoughts.

Blog suggestion:  Using the information presented in the webinar and your own personal experiences, briefly reflect on the different types of stakeholders in virtual education and their interests. Then, summarize your findings for the following:

  • Choose one stakeholder group–either of those explicitly discussed in the presentation or of your own choosing.
  • Create a set of questions about the process of online learning, its impact, & the stakeholder’s interest in it.
  • Interview a member of the group of stakeholders you chose. Remember to get permission from your interviewee to share your discussion in your blog (or keep anonymous)
  • Reflect on the results of the interview. What did you learn about that stakeholder? What surprised you? How can you apply what you learned about that stakeholder to your own experience as an online teacher?
